Adverse Weather Policy



Summary of the changes to our Client Terms and Conditions

The following clauses will be added to the Client Terms of Conditions under Clause 2 Contract:

2.5. In the event the Client cancels an Assignment less than two hours prior to the assignment start time the Employment Business shall charge the Client an Administration Fee of £45.

2.6. If the Client cancels an Assignment that the candidate has completed equal to or more than the 12 weeks duration because of adverse weather conditions the Employment Business shall charge the Client the total charges of the Assignment including Qualifying Pay for the purposes of the Agency Workers’ Regulations. This applies even if the Client cancels part of the Assignment, for example the Agency Worker works on Monday and Tuesday but is not required on Wednesday and Thursday.

2.7. If the Client cancels an Assignment of at least 6 weeks duration because of adverse weather conditions and, cancels any day of the Assignment that the Agency Worker should work within twenty four hours’ of the day the Agency Worker is due to work, then the Employment Business shall charge the Client the total daily charges for the first day of the Assignment that is cancelled and the Client will be charged the Administration Fee set out in clause 2.6. per day for any subsequent days that the Client cancels.

2.8 Cancellation of an Assignment by the Client will only be accepted if the Client notifies the Employment Business in writing (e-mails are acceptable)

Save for the amendments above all other provisions of our Client Terms and Conditions shall apply. This Addendum is deemed to be accepted by the Client by virtue of its request for, interview with, or Engagement of an Intermediary or the passing of any information about the Agency Worker or Intermediary to any third party following an Introduction and the continued use of our services to Introduce Agency Workers to the Client.
