A Day In The Life of Teaching Staff

It is no secret that working in education can be an incredibly demanding profession that requires a lot of hard work, patience and perseverance. In many cases, the profession involves early starts, long-hours and a seemingly endless stream of paperwork! Despite this, working as a member of teaching staff can be one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs out there. With almost 500,000 teachers (Department for Education, 2017) and over 400,000 support staff (BBC News, 2014) in the UK alone, we can’t help but wonder: what is it like to spend a day working in education? We asked some of our registered teaching staff for a little insight into their average working day to try and find out just that. Take a look at the findings below!
