Virtual Introduction to SEN Teaching

This two-part course is perfect for anyone looking for an SEN teaching assistant role or an SEN teaching job. Teaching SEN students is a big responsibility, but with this course, you will be two steps ahead of everyone else. Some of the topics covered in this course include safer working practices, special schools and role definitions, qualities and skills, a range of SEND jargon, concerns, teaching practices and so much more. Virtual Introduction to the Teaching Assistant Role

This two-day course is designed to help new teaching assistants without much relevant experience. Topics covered in this course include behaviour management support, monitoring progress, feeding back to pupils, SEND interventions, safeguarding and other skills that will help new teaching assistants stand out from the crowd. This course starts on the 21st of July and will end on the 22nd.



Virtual EYFS – 2021 Update and Behaviour Management Strategies

This one-day course is designed to refresh key EYFS skills and update awareness of the latest standards as outlined in the 2021 EYFS framework. This course is ideal for those who work primarily in EYFS, candidates returning to teaching after a prolonged absence, or those who mainly teach KS2 but want to extend their work opportunities within Early Years. The course is suitable for Nursery Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors and Teachers. This course will be taking place on the 27th of July.



Virtual Safeguarding Course

Every three years, teachers working with children will need to complete a full generalist safeguarding course. This course will count as your three-year update and will be available to all registered candidates on the 28th of July. This course also features a one-hour, non-certified safeguarding webinar discussing the challenges of safeguarding post- lockdown.



Virtual Behaviour Management Workshop

Behaviour management is not only a vital skill for any teacher to have, but it is an impressive skill to have on your CV. This half-day course will cover the most common bad behaviour and low-level disruptions experienced by teachers. Make your classroom a more positive teaching space and learn the skills you need to reduce stress caused by bad behaviour. This valuable virtual workshop will be available on the 28th of July.
