We are overjoyed to announce that our Northern Area Manager, Helen Davies, has won the Global Recruiter Award for the ‘Best Temporary Consultant’!
The Global Recruiter Awards are only given to best and brightest in the industry. To win, you need to be a recruiter who understand their category, knows exactly what your clients need and to be able to see the strengths and skills of your candidates.
We put Helen forward for this award for many reasons. Helen has demonstrated world-class leadership through 2020 despite the most challenging times the education recruitment industry has faced. At the start of the Pandemic, Helen was promoted from Cheshire Branch Manager to her current role of Northern Area Manager, leading a team of 8 Consultants and Managers across 3 of our branches. Throughout the Pandemic Helen has been able to lead her team to greatness, showing incredible compassion for her staff and developing a tightly knit team. Helen has also shown great courage, spearheading Simply’s expansion into a new market (SEND) during the company’s most challenging time while working from home, in a new role with a new team.
Helen is motivated by her childhood dream of working with children and becoming a PE Teacher. She had a hugely positive experience at school with her own teachers and knew that education was the field she wanted to get into. As a result, Helen focuses on both the passions of the teachers she is placing and the development of the children they will be teaching, making her a fantastic Recruiter and Consultant. Helen’s well known as an excellent SEND teacher recruiter after helping many teachers find their dream role, but more importantly she has helped many children move forward with their education. Some of Helen’s clients have said that they would have lost some of their pupils if it wasn’t for the amazing teachers Helen has sourced for them. Helen is remarkably close to her clients and candidates and has received a host of positive feedback from them over the years.

Helen is taking the SEND market and the Northern region to the next level; she has a strong growth plan and is an inspirational leader. With all this, it is no surprise that Helen won this prestigious award and continues to be a shining star in the Simply Education family. We couldn’t be prouder of Helen for winning this monumental prize!
