You will need to be able to quickly familiarise yourself with lesson plans and class materials, manage classroom behaviour, and foster a positive learning environment. Strong organisation skills, resourcefulness, and excellent classroom management are essential for this varied role. Successful supply teachers will need to obtain a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in order to work in primary schools.
