Simply Education are urgently seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within a local SEND school. This school provides high standards of learning to all pupils within their care.

All teachers and support staff work together to provide an enjoyable experience for all and are fully committed to the ethos and values of the school. This placement will be an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for a new challenge!

Your role will be to to work 1:1 within the classroom with pupils with a range of special educational needs, and provide a safe and positive learning environment to develop their education. 

This is a great opportunity to work with children ans young people and help them to develop their own self-help skills, leading to a greater level of independence and improved self-esteem.

SEN experience is desirable (not essential)

As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will need to

-Have a passion for teaching and education.

-Be flexible and adaptable

-Excellent behaviour management skills

-Passion for supporting students in their learning

-Excellent communication skills

-Be confident dealing with challenging behaviour.
