We are seeking an aspiring youth support worker who is passionate about guiding and empowering vulnerable teenagers to join our team at a SEND secondary school. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with neurodiverse students while developing valuable skills to further your career in youth work.

In this role you will:

Build mentoring relationships with students through one-on-one and group activities

Provide advice and support on issues like education, employment, relationships etc.

Implement interventions to develop confidence, self-esteem and social skills

Advocate for students and liaise with families, teachers and other professionals

Encourage students to get involved in programs focused on life skills, careers, hobbies etc.

No previous experience required. Full training will be provided to introduce you to key youth work approaches and equipping you with strategies for supporting teens with additional needs.
