Simply Education are proud to be acting on behalf of a wonderful and successful Private Day Nursery in Knutsford who are looking to add a permanent Childcare Practitioner to their dedicated team. Pay: £16,000-£21,000 per annum pro-rata (depending on experience)

Location: Knutsford

Start date: Immediate start available!

Hours: Part time (16-30 hours) Flexible between Monday and Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Plan and facilitate activities, and support children’s learning at all times

Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors.

Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.

Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery


The ideal candidate will have:

Either level 2/3 Early Years Childcare qualification or equivalent

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.

Experience of the EYFS and using it within a nursery setting.

Be enthusiastic, passionate and full of ideas to encourage learning and development.
