Position: English  Teacher – MLD School 

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £24,374 (ECT) to £39000 per annum

Contract: 12 months 

Location: Crewe, Cheshire 

Simply Education are recruiting on behalf of a SEN School in Crewe who are looking to appoint a English Teacher for as soon as possible. 

This is a special school which focus’ on children with mental health difficulties, giving them a safe space to learn, where they feel secure, protected and ready to embrace their education. Though academic progress is very important, they place an extensive emphasis on personal, social and emotional development which forms the basis of all they do through the school.

They want to inspire children’s minds, get them to think outside of the box – to think that their dream is possible, help them to make it a reality and unlock every child’s potential. Their aim to raise children’s aspirations, help them think for themselves, inspiring a sense of awe and wonder which will have a positive impact on their future.

This school believe that children with special educational needs deserve the same opportunities in life as every other child, and their outcomes should be the same. Their ultimate aim is to prepare children to be successful adults who go on to live happy lives.

They are looking for a creative, active and open-minded English Teacher to join their team. They are looking for someone who has a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring. They are looking for a English  Teacher, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard, and are happy to get involved whole school activities.

Ideally, you will be a creative thinker and be able to turn the core maths curriculum into a fun and engaging subject. Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) isn’t essential. The school is looking for qualified teachers for this position.
