Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Grantham

Salary: From £19,500 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement).

Are you passionate about empowering students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH) needs? Simply Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to make a profound difference in the lives of SEMH students in the Grantham area!

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of providing invaluable one-to-one support to children with SEMH requirements. Your role will encompass nurturing, guiding, and facilitating learning experiences tailored to individual needs, fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored support and guidance on a one-to-one basis to SEMH students.

Assisting in the creation and implementation of specialised learning plans.

Collaborating closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic development.

Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.


Possession of a valid driving license.

Proven previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an SEN or SEMH setting.

A genuine passion for supporting and empowering students with diverse learning needs.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
