Simply Education are currently working with a SEND School Sandbach who require two Teaching Assistant to start on a temporary to permanent contract in September.

The School applies a very mainstream approach in terms of how they deliver the curriculum however tailor it to meet the needs of the pupils.  Class sizes are very small with only 6 pupils supported by a class Teacher and two Teaching Assistants.

In this role you would be supporting pupils with high functional Autism if you have worked with pupils within mainstream this would be an advantage.

The role in this school is long term and permanent position due to needing consistency for the pupils. This gives you the opportunity to build relationships with staff and students and get to be part of the schools team.

- Have good communication

- Be able to deal with a variety of situations

- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team

- Experience of working with young people

- Have a good sense of humour
