Position Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons to secondary school students. You will be responsible for teaching the Maths curriculum, covering key concepts, problem-solving techniques, and mathematical reasoning. Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver dynamic and well-structured maths lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs.

- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaborative learning.

- Teach and assess students' mathematical knowledge, skills, and understanding.

- Instil problem-solving strategies and promote logical thinking in students' approach to mathematics.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students' progress and achievement.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.

- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events to foster positive engagement and communication.

- Keep abreast of educational advancements and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.

- In-depth knowledge of the Maths curriculum and proficiency in teaching key mathematical concepts.

- Strong subject knowledge in areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational trends.
