Position Overview:

As an NQT, you will have the chance to apply your newly acquired knowledge and skills in the classroom while receiving comprehensive support and training. We recognize the importance of continued professional development, which is why we offer additional training and observation opportunities during your placements. You will receive valuable feedback and guidance from experienced mentors, allowing you to refine your teaching practice and excel in your career.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.

- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.

- Embrace observation and training opportunities, actively seeking feedback for professional growth.

- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and progress reports.

- Participate in extracurricular activities and events to contribute to the wider school community.

- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures of the school.

Requirements:

- A relevant bachelor's degree in Education or subject area.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS certification

- Passion and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

- Adaptable and resilient nature with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

- Commitment to personal and professional development.

- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
