Time Frame: Long-term – ASAP Start

Hours: Full-time

Simply Education is working in partnership with a school that supports primary age pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) issues. They are looking for a friendly, nurturing and enthusiastic Primary teacher with experience in a SEN environment to join their amazing team. The ideal Primary Teacher will have a passion for teaching children and supporting them in their learning journey. You will be able to adjust to any situation knowing no day will be the same. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build excellent rapport with both students and teachers. As a Primary Teacher you will have a creative approach to teaching making the learning experience an exciting and engaging one.

If this sounds like you, you need the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education.

Previous experience with complex behaviour desirable.

Looking to support and develop pupils with additional learning needs.

Clear communication both written and verbal

The ability to adapt to different situations quickly and willingness to learn new strategies.

Have a creative approach in dealing with behaviour

Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
