SEN HEAL Teacher needed in Leeds

Simply Education are recruiting for a HEAL Specialist Teacher (Maths, English and Science) for a SEMH School in Leeds (LS14), this role is a long term, part time contract starting as soon as possible.
The HEAL programme is a combination of direct home tutoring, supplemented with a personalised curriculum of learning online and through project work, e.g. towards examinations. Most pupils will engage in our learning programmes for a time limited period, with a view to returning to school or progressing to college, training or employment at the earliest opportunity.
This school specialise in supporting pupils with complex behaviour, who can find mainstream education a challenge. The school is Ofsted rated outstanding, staff have the highest expectations for their pupils and themselves which creates a positive learning culture.
You may have thought that I have no experience or training to be considered to work in this area? After working with this School for many years I have understood that its more about the person rather than the training and experience.
What is the school looking for ?
• You must have taught core subjects to GCSE.
• Have a real passion to guide and support vulnerable learners.
• The ability to adapt to different situations quickly and willingness to
learn new strategies.
• You can build rapport quickly with learners and have a creative approach in the way that you teach your lessons.
To be a successful Teacher you will need to;
Hold a recognised Teacher qualification e.g., QTS, NQT or have a degree.
Have experience working with SEND Pupils
Be able to effectively develop the confidence, language, behaviour and social skills of Children between the ages of 11-18
Be able to adapt with ease to new environments
Have an outstanding awareness of safeguarding, equality and diversity
Be friendly and approachable
