Position: SEN TA

Qualification: CACHE/NVQ Level 2+

Type of Work: Day-to-day supply with potential for long-term opportunities

Location: Various SEND settings in Northampton

 

Are you enthusiastic about supporting learners with Special Educational Needs? We're looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our team on a supply basis with the potential for long-term opportunities.

About the Role: As a SEND TA, you’ll work across a variety of settings that cater to children aged 5+ with a range of needs. These include:

Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) for learners excluded from mainstream schools

Support for learners with ASD, ADHD, PMLD, MLD, and other learning needs.

We work closely with schools that expect candidates to have strong classroom experience and a passion for supporting children with diverse needs.

Requirements:

CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or above (UTAs considered if they show relevant experience with SEND learners)

At least 6 months’ experience working as a TA in a school setting

Experience working in SEND environments or supporting SEND learners is highly desirable

Proof of ‘Right to Work in the UK’
