Simply Education is looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives, we are recruiting for a lovely school in NN15 who provide education for children aged 11-18yrs old with cognition and learning needs. The school believes in helping young people to embrace opportunities and use effective, well-judged motivation strategies, challenge students’ learning, and create a safe and positive learning environment, where courtesy, dignity and respect help spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. They are looking for someone to join the team who shares these values and can get stuck in with the children so that you are able to go home at the end of a working day and feel accomplished.

This role is a long-term role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide support to teachers by assisting with lesson planning, preparation of classroom materials, and implementation of lessons.

•Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce learning concepts and provide academic support.

•Assist with classroom management and behaviour intervention.

•Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student development.

•Create a positive and encouraging learning environment for all students.

•Build and nurture positive relationships with both staff and children.

•Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
