Do you have experience working with children? Are you looking for a route into the education sector? Simply Education are working alongside a Special Education Needs school in Ashford to recruit several Teaching Assistants for September, ready for the beginning of the new academic year. If you are looking for highly rewarding work where you can positively impact the lives of young people, look no further!

Simply Education are searching for qualified and unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide classroom and outdoor support for an SEN school in Ashford. The school caters for children and young adults aged 3-19, with many of the students presenting a wide range of complex needs, including ADHD, Autism, and various disabilities. We are working on several roles with this particular school, so whether you are searching for part-time or full-time work, we will be able to cater to your needs.

We are keen to hear from both experienced candidates as well as those who are looking to break into the education sector, so if you have experience working with children in any setting, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Experience working with SEN children is of course desirable, however, if you are willing to learn and show a genuine passion for working with SEN children, we are happy to consider those without experience.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children, whether that be inside or outside of schools.

• Experience of working with SEN children is ideal, but not essential

• Has excellent behaviour management skills

• Can promote cultural development.

• Has great communication and rapport building skills.

• Can close the gap in performance of all pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.

• Is happy to work both inside and outside of the classroom, as the school includes lots of land-based and outdoor activities in their timetable.

Simply Education’s specialist consultants will be on hand throughout the recruitment process to provide guidance and information about any roles we have available. We started our journey in January 2006 with the aim to provide teaching staff with local supply work and permanent roles. Over the years we have built strong working relationships with our schools, and we pride ourselves on placing enthusiastic candidates in their ideal teaching roles.
