Are you a dedicated and passionate qualified teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? I am currently seeking a skilled educator to join a wonderful SEND school, specifically to cater their vibrant 6th form.

This school is committed to providing exceptional education and support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The 6th form Endeavour class is a dynamic environment, catering to mixed year groups 12, 13, and 14. They pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive and supportive learning community where every student can thrive.

Responsibilities:

-Lead and deliver engaging lessons to 6th form students, encompassing mixed year groups 12, 13, and 14

-Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

-Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students presenting ASD and SLD.

-Provide individualized support and guidance to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

-Maintain effective communication with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

-Experience working with students with ASD and SLD preferred

-Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

-Commitment to promoting a positive and supportive learning environment
