Permanent full time Position for a Teacher in a SEND School
The School are looking to appoint a Teacher as soon as possible on a temporary t permanent contract. You would be teaching a KS3 class with a range of needs such as Autism and SEMH.If you don't have experience in Special School setting this isn't essential just the willingness to learn.
The school offer a similar curriculum to mainstream however have a reduced class size with only 4-5 children supported by a Teaching Assistant .They have a creative approach to learning approach,coupled with positive environment designed to meet the individual needs of students . With the right support, they have opportunities to achieve work experience, academic and vocational qualifications.
This Teachers role would be a full time position and the hours would be between 8:30 - 4pm each day. If you are looking for a position where the social development of the children is just as important as the academic development then this could be the role for you.

- Primary or Secondary Teacher
-Looking to support a develop pupils with additional learning needs and complex emotional issues.
-You must have clear communication both written and verbal
- Be willing to learn
- Have a creative approach in dealing with behaviour
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
