Primary Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Behavioural Support

2-3 days per week

Starting November

Boston area

Simply Education is recruiting a dedicated and patient teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a primary aged pupil with behavioural needs in the Boston area.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Work closely with the SENCO to implement behaviour plans

Provide in-class and out-of-class support to meet the pupil's needs

Use positive behaviour strategies to nurture and encourage the pupil

Help build the pupil's confidence and social skills

Establish constructive relationships with the pupil, their parents and staff

Be passionate about making a difference for a vulnerable learner

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Experience working with children with behavioural difficulties

Knowledge of de-escalation and restraint techniques

The ability to stay calm under pressure

Strong behaviour management abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A caring, patient and resilient approach

10 year checkable and 2 year referenceable work history
