Teaching Assistant – Chester
Simply Education are proud to be working in partnership with a local primary school in the Chester area who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and 2. The school are seeking one 5 mornings a week to support students with SEND needs, experience with Autism and ADHD would be preferable but not essential, being able to build relationships with students is the most important.
Days: Monday to Friday (39 weeks per year)
Hours: 8.30-1:00 pm
Pay: £11.60 – 13.30 per hour!!

The role will be working from Reception to Year 6 and therefore we are able to find the age group that you are best suited too. You will be based in the classroom supporting students to access the work set out by the class Teachers. The Teachers will work closely with you to enable you to best support the children you will be working with. To be successful in this role the key requirements are patience and consistency, you will be supporting students to keep them on task and allowing the children to feel comfortable within school and grow their character.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a positive attitude and approach towards children and learning.
A great work ethic.
A genuine passion for education.
6+ months experience would be ideal however any experience will be considered.
An understanding of SEND

Proof of ‘Right to Work in the UK’
10 year checkable work/education history.
