Part-Time Teaching Assistant Needed in Scunthorpe
Simply Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work part-time at a primary school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and nurturing school community and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to teachers across Key Stages 1 and 2. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
Working one-on-one or in small groups to provide targeted academic support to students
Helping students with special educational needs or who require additional learning assistance
Supervising students during breaks, lunch, and other non-instructional times
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping children reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
A genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of primary school students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
This is a part-time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work between 20-25 hours per week. The role is available to start as soon as possible.
