Do you have experience teaching Religious Studies or Ethics? Are you looking for a new opportunity within a friendly and innovative secondary school? Simply Education are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Ethics and Religious Studies to join a school within Medway with an immediate start!
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual responsible for ensuring that all students have an excellent experience in lessons and has a real passion for teaching. If you have the skills to engage secondary school students and can design and deliver thought-provoking lessons we would love to speak with you!
You will be joining a team of like-minded people, working in a well-equipped RE department and will be offered supportive development opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity, and the role is open for experienced practitioners as well as newly qualified RE teachers.
Personal specification:
- Experience of teaching Religious Studies or Ethics.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to facilitate respectful discussions.
- Strong organisational skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- A passion for exciting and engaging lessons that apply real world skills to creative projects.
- A working understanding of assessment and moderation of vocational and academic subjects.
- A desire to achieve outstanding results.
