Job Description: We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team in St. Helens. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about early childhood education. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.

Provide personal care and support to children, including feeding, changing, and helping with daily routines.

Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, secure, and valued.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, and share information with parents and caregivers as needed.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including health and safety standards and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood setting.

Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and relevant safeguarding training.
