A friendly primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging cover teacher to provide classroom coverage on an on-call, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for teachers looking for short-term or temporary work. As a cover teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction, managing classroom activities, and assisting students in various subjects.
The planning will be provided for you and you will be called upon to cover classes for short-term absences or longer leaves. We are looking for candidates who hold a QTS certificate and show passion and enthusiasm maintaining professional behaviours with staff and children in the school as well as strong behaviour management and experience / willingness to work across both key stage 1 and 2.
• All candidates who register with Simply Education will be required to have an enhanced DBS which is on the Update Service.
• All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course, or provide a certificate dated within the last three years.
• All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
• All candidates will have commitment to and responsibility for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people to the relevant extent of the role.
