Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Shipston-On-Stour, UK
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Shipston-On-Stour. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students from Year 7 to Year 11, contributing to the school's commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons tailored to students from Year 7 to Year 11.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support where necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a love for Geography and an appreciation for its real-world applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and enhancement of the Geography curriculum.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in a humanities subject with a specialization in Geography.
• Proven experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting.
• Confidence and competence in teaching students across the age range of Year 7 to Year 11.
• Ideally, possess an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
