Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Secondary School in a Village in Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2024
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Geography Teacher to join our schools committed team at a thriving secondary school located in a picturesque village in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering engaging geography lessons, fostering curiosity and understanding of the world among our schools students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality geography lessons in alignment with the national curriculum.
Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and exploration.
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Provide constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic progress and personal development.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and initiatives that enhance the school community.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience teaching geography in a UK secondary school setting.
Enhanced DBS on the update service.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum for geography.
Ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in any humanities subject.
