Simply Education is currently searching for a History specialist to take on a very exciting opportunity at a lovely school in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time position, but they will consider someone on a part time basis if they have a background in History teaching.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their teaching journey or someone who is looking to progress within the Humanities department. Due to the demands for History Teachers, the successful candidate will be required to plan, set and mark the work of their students.
The Requirements:
Requirements for candidates will include:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, Cert Ed or equivalent or relevant experience teaching in schools.
- You will have previous experience teaching Maths to Secondary School pupils.
- Up to date knowledge of the British National Curriculum
- Passion for teaching young students
- Possess a creative approach to teaching
- Following lesson plans
- Strong behaviour management
