Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Language Teacher to join a highly regarded school in the Stoke on Trent area. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to inspire students and foster a love for languages within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), such as French, Spanish, or German, to students of varying abilities.
Utilizing innovative teaching methods to promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and school language initiatives.
Participating in extracurricular activities and language-related events to enrich the educational experience of students.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialism in Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German, etc.).
Proven experience teaching MFL at secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Passion for languages and a commitment to promoting cultural awareness and appreciation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider success of the school community.
