Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.

- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, resources, and materials to enhance the learning experience and cater to diverse student needs.

- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate academic growth.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.

- Stay up-to-date with scientific advancements and educational best practices to continuously enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field; a teaching qualification is highly desirable.

- Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary school level is preferred, but enthusiastic NQTs are also encouraged to apply.

- A genuine passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring students through engaging and interactive teaching methods.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to ensure effective lesson planning, assessment, and record-keeping.

- A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
