Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic PE Teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The ideal candidate will have experience in a UK secondary school or be a recent graduate. Consideration will also be given to candidates with coaching or related experience. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and a passion for promoting physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Utilize effective teaching and coaching techniques to enhance students' physical skills and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the PE curriculum.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, sports events, and school initiatives.
Requirements:
• PGCE in Physical Education.
• Valid DBS check.
• Ideally, experience working in a UK secondary school or set to graduate this year.
• Coaching or related experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum for PE.
Skills and Qualities:
• Passionate about promoting physical education and well-being.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
