**Salary:** pro rata 75 – 80 per day

**Job Description:**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School-Based Childcare Practitioner to join our team and support the provision of high-quality childcare services in Winsford. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a school-based childcare setting.

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

- Create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.

- Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and partnership.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safeguarding procedures at all times.

- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and development.

- Collaborate with other childcare practitioners and school staff to support the holistic development of children.

 

Qualifications  or Experience

- Level 1,2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification).

- Previous experience working in a childcare setting, preferably within a school environment.

- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and best practices in childcare.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and flexible approach to childcare.
