Job Title: Science Teacher Location: Shipston-On-Stour Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
Are you an enthusiastic and qualified Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Shipston-On-Stour? Simply Education is partnering with local secondary schools and is actively seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join their dedicated team. If you have experience working in a UK secondary school, hold a PGCE in Science (or related subject), and possess a strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, and physics, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver captivating and comprehensive Science lessons encompassing biology, chemistry, and physics.
• Foster a love for scientific inquiry and exploration in students through engaging teaching methods.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
• Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Science curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE in Science (or related subject).
• Proven experience working as a Science Teacher in a UK secondary school.
• A valid UK DBS on the update service would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, and physics; specialisation in one is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
