Primary Teaching Assistant ––Chester - Upton
Days: Monday to Friday 5 days
Hours: 8.30-3.30
Location: Chester
Pay: £75 to £80 per day
Experienced Teaching Assistant
The role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a key stage 2 student child with autism the young child does not have behavior challenges but, the school wants a consistent and versatile teaching assistant that can accommodate the needs of the young child. The ideal person will be able to build strong relationships with children, help personalize the work to motivate and engage the child in the classroom.
You will be based in the classroom supporting students to access the work set out by the class Teachers. The Teachers will work closely with you to enable you to best support the children you will be working with. To be successful in this role the key requirements are patience and consistency, you will be supporting students to keep them on task and allowing the children to feel comfortable within school and grow their character.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a positive attitude and approach towards children and learning.
A great work ethic.
A genuine passion for education.
6+ months experience would be ideal however any experience will be considered.
An understanding of SEND.

Proof of ‘Right to Work in the UK’
10-year checkable work/education history.
