Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Coventry Salary: £85 - £95 per day (DOE)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs? Simply Education is collaborating with multiple schools across Coventry and is actively seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team. If you have a background in supporting children with mild to severe learning difficulties in a UK secondary school setting, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEND, ranging from mild to severe learning difficulties.

• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.

• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and academic development.

• Adapt and employ various teaching and communication methods to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK secondary school, specifically supporting students with SEND.

• Confidence and competence in working with children with a range of learning difficulties.

• A valid UK DBS on the update service is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
