Job Title: Social Science Teacher

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The ideal candidate will have experience in a UK secondary school or be a recent graduate. The successful candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum for Social Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Social Science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and analysis.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to enhance students' understanding of Social Science concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Social Science curriculum.
• Stay updated on educational trends and advancements in Social Sciences.
Requirements:
• PGCE in Social Science Education – anything social science considered.
• Valid DBS check.
• Ideally, experience working in a UK secondary school or set to graduate this year.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum for Social Sciences.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Knowledgeable about Social Science concepts and theories.
