Job Title: Humanities Teacher

Location: Cambridge, Cambridge

Job Type: Part-Time, long term

We are looking for a teacher of the highest calibre who has an excellent understanding of the subject and the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire our students. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, innovative, creative and enthusiastic practitioner with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes.

Role Overview:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, promoting a love for design and technology, and fostering creativity. You will play a crucial role in the development of our students' technical skills and their understanding of the principles of design and graphics. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to making a positive impact on young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons that align with the curriculum.

- Inspire and motivate students to explore their creative potential and develop practical skills.

- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best teaching practices.

- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Design Technology and Graphics education.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Specialization in Humanities is highly desirable.

- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.

- Strong communication and classroom management skills.

- Passion for design, technology, and graphics.
