QTS Teacher - SEMH Teacher in Loughborough
Simply Education is looking for a SEMH Teacher to support our KS3 / KS4 classes in a Secondary School Setting. You will have a small class of students to support in their learning and development. As a Teacher you will be expected to support your students EHCP's and assist with their learning as well as teaching the class. As a SEMH Teacher you will have full planning, preparing and marking duties.
This is a Secondary School setting with an additional SEMH unit on site to support children with additional needs. We are keen to find a dedicated, motivated and devoted individual who will motivate and inspire the students to flourish!
Responsibilities:
Planning creative, tailored lessons and modifying curriculum to suit students' individual needs
Employing specialized teaching strategies to support students with learning difficulties
Marking work and providing feedback to enable progress
Tracking academic and social development and making adjustments
Communicating with families to provide updates and coordinate support
Maintaining an organized, positive classroom environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEND children
Strong understanding of specific learning disabilities
Resourcefulness and patience
Enthusiasm for making a difference in students' lives
