Maths Teacher Location: Macclesfield Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 Contract: Full-time, Long-term   Our school are looking for a secondary maths teacher to teach at a secondary level. Qualified teachers’ status is not essential, but you must be confident teaching in a small group of approximately 7 students per class. You must consider the educational, physical, and social needs of the students within a learning environment, making reasonable adjustments to your teaching style to suit a variety of different needs. This is a long-term role that has a high possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidates. In Addition, the school are looking into moving towards a 4-day working weeks for all their staff in the near future.   Some additional duties may include: - Work collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team. - Maintain and use short-, medium- and long-term plans in delivering the Maths curriculum. - Set, monitor, and review personalised targets that will optimise learning for each- individual. - Contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews. - Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.     About the school We are currently seeking a passionate Secondary Maths Teacher who can make a positive impact on students' attainment and progress. Role: PMLD Teaching Assistant   Salary: 375 - 425 Per week Location: Winsford Start Date: Flexible Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract   Simply Education is currently working in partnership with a SEND provision in Winsford that supports students aged between 2-19 with complex learning, medical and physical needs. The provision aims to establish a family feel where each students needs is individually catered for and milestones are celebrated. Class sizes are roughly 4 – 6 students per class. Learning is focused on promoting independence and following the student’s individual pathway which is informed from the students EHCP and arising needs. The school also has additional facilities for their students including a hydrotherapy pool and Physiotherapy centre.   The setting is Ofsted rated outstanding setting where staff’s wellbeing is prioritised. The school has measures in place to ensure that an effective work life balance is established for all their staff. As a Sports Coach you will be responsible for building rapport and inspiring students to reengage with their learning. It is important to note that our students have not had the conventional school experience so thinking on your feet and being adaptable and versatile in your role is essential. The role itself will include a combination of general Teaching assistant duties with an element of sports on specific days. You will be responsible for supporting students on a 1:1 basis or as part of a small group. Due to consistency for our students being a priority you must be able to commit to a full-time role Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30. Our students do have varied special educational needs including Autism and ADHD. As a result, there can be rare incidences of behaviour when our students become overwhelmed.
