Job Title: Art Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Art Teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The ideal candidate will have experience in a UK secondary school or will be graduating this year. Industry experience will also be considered. Knowledge of the national curriculum for Art is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their artistic skills and techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Art curriculum.
• Stay informed about contemporary art trends and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Requirements:
• PGCE in Art Education.
• Valid DBS check.
• Ideally, experience working in a UK secondary school or set to graduate this year.
• Industry experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum for Art.
