Job Title: Secondary School English Teacher
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School English Teacher to join our clients dedicated team in Daventry. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and educating students, fostering a love for English language and literature.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English department's curriculum.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other activities as required.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• A degree in English or relevant
• Enhanced DBS clearance, ideally on the update service.
• Experience teaching English/humanities in a UK secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
