Job Title: Geography Teacher

We are collaborating with a well-regarded secondary school in Coventry to find a dedicated Geography Teacher who will inspire and educate students in alignment with the national curriculum.
Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a UK secondary school or will be graduating this year. As a Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a love for geography.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver comprehensive geography lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the geography curriculum.
• Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
• PGCE in Secondary Geography Education.
• Valid DBS check.
• Ideally, experience working in a UK secondary school or set to graduate this year.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum for geography.
