Primary Learning Support Assistant
Woodhall Spa Area
Part Time or Full Time Hours
Simply Education is recruiting for a learning support assistant to work at a primary school in Woodhall Spa. The role will involve providing classroom and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
As a successful candidate you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis with learning activities
Use encouraging teaching strategies to meet pupils' needs
Help implement IEPs and learning plans set by the SENCO
Provide extra assistance to pupils who need additional help
Promote the inclusion of SEN pupils in all aspects of school life
Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff members
To be considered for this role you should have:
Experience working with children in a learning support role
An understanding of supporting pupils with SEN
Excellent communication skills and patience
The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
A caring and encouraging approach to supporting young learners
10 years checkable work history and 2 years referenceable work history.
