Job Title: Secondary School PE Teacher

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

A brilliant school based in a great location are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join their passionate team in fostering a love for sports and physical activity among secondary school students. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students to achieve their full potential both academically and athletically.

Responsibilities -

Deliver Engaging PE Lessons: Plan and execute well-structured and engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of secondary school students.

Promote Physical Fitness: Instill the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle through innovative and challenging activities.

Develop Sports Skills: Nurture students' athletic abilities by providing comprehensive training in various sports and physical activities.

Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

Extracurricular Involvement: Encourage and organise extracurricular sports activities to enhance students' overall physical and social development.

Requirements -

Qualifications: A degree in Physical Education or a related field along with relevant teaching qualifications – or related experience

Experience: Experience teaching PE to secondary school students.

DBS Check: A valid and up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory.

Update Service (Preferred): Ideally, the candidate should be registered on the DBS Update Service for a streamlined hiring process.

Passion for Education: A genuine passion for educating and inspiring secondary school students to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the PE department and school.
