Salary: M1-UPS3 (Dependent on Experience) plus SEN (£3757)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Position: Curriculum Teacher - All Subjects

This SEN school are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Curriculum Teacher to join their friendly team and teach all subjects across the school starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of subjects, catering to the diverse needs of students with SEMH needs

Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour, resilience, and academic progress

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies to meet the specific needs of each student

Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and support staff to provide a holistic approach to student support and development

Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers to foster a strong home-school partnership and support student well-being

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching across a range of subjects

Understanding of SEMH needs and experience working with students with challenging behaviours

Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students

Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
