Job Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Scunthorpe

Contract: Temporary, Full-Time (with the potential for permanent)

Salary: £440 - £450 per week

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to children with profound multiple learning difficulties. Your key responsibilities will include:

Offering one-on-one assistance to students, catering to their individual needs and abilities.

Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.

Monitoring and recording student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children with profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), either within a school setting or a relevant care environment.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.

A proactive approach to learning and development, with a commitment to ongoing

professional growth.

Possession of a full, driving license would be preferred.
