Simply Education are working alongside a Secondary School in Lincoln who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant after the Easter Break and will be for the remainder of the academic year.

The Teaching Assistant will be working in a friendly Secondary School and will be supporting a number of students on a 1:1 basis. Therefore the Teaching Assistant will need to have a nurturing character and be experienced of working with young people.

- Teaching Assistant

- Full Time (Mon - Fri 8.30 to 3.30)

- Lincoln Secondary School, accessible by public transport

- Experienced needed

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

- Experience working with young people with ADHD and Autism

- Strong classroom management skills

- Confidence using technology and educational programmes

- Creativity, patience and enthusiasm for working with young students

Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant include:

- Providing classroom support to teachers during lessons

- Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver tailored instruction

- Assisting with reading, writing, Maths and other subjects

- Preparing classroom materials and learning activities

- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback

- Managing student behaviour and upholding classroom rules

- Supervising classrooms, lunch breaks, and school activities as needed
