We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a level 3 qualification to join our growing team! A local Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them full time to support the needs of their school and the children.

You will be providing 1-on-1 or small group support to students who require additional assistance in understanding lessons, completing classwork or homework assignments, practicing skills etc. As a level 3 teaching assistant this will often involve working with students with special educational needs. The Teaching assistant will assist students in specific subject areas like reading, writing, maths, science etc, as directed by the classroom teacher. You will be helping explain or reinforce concepts, supervise practice activities, answer questions.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or equivalent qualification

Experience working with primary or nursery school-aged children

Strong classroom management abilities

Confidence using technology and educational programs/apps

Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young students

Key responsibilities of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant include:

Providing classroom support to teachers during lessons

Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver tailored instruction

Assisting with reading, writing, maths, and other subjects

Preparing classroom materials and learning activities

Monitoring student progress and providing feedback

Managing student behavior and upholding classroom rules

Supervising classrooms, lunch breaks, and school activities as needed

We are looking for an engaging, caring level 3 Teaching Assistant committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Candidates should be comfortable with a varied schedule and duties supporting classroom teachers

Salary : £90 - 100 a day

Contract : Daily Cover / Long Term Roles Available

Hours : 8:30 till 4:30 - Monday to Friday

Subject to two years of satisfactory references
