Well-being assistant - Full time - Northampton
A specialist provision in the area is looking to expand their team! After great success of internal promotions the school wants to grow their support team for the students. The provision is highly specialised to suit the needs of the students in attendance.
Experience is not necessary but a passion to support children and young people with special educational needs is essential. The students at this school have social communication difficulties, some may present behaviour difficulties and other challenges. All students within the school have an educational, health and care plan (EHCP) as their needs are long term.
Well-being assistant - SEN - SEND - Class Support - Full Time - Northampton
The school is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and engaging people to get involved and support the students. The class sizes are reduced to 5 - 10 students to support the needs of the room. Working alongside a team of teaching assistants and a teacher within the classroom you will receive great levels of support within the role.
It is essential that the successful candidate is able to communicate clearly in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy and work within the school, including safeguarding and child protection.

Full-time: Posts are for 32.5 hours a week and Term Time Only. Teaching Assistant hours are 8:30-3:25pm Monday-Wednesday, 8:30pm-4:00pm Thursday and 8:30-3:15pm Friday term time
